The Prudent Know Love!

Leo Buscaglia from Born for Love

The conventional view of love is that it is mainly a thing of the heart, an intangible something that often overpowers us with indescribable emotions. The Lakota Indians, on the other hand, believe that love is the first wisdom given to us and that all things are derived from that knowledge.

When we talk of love at first sight between two people, we can only hope for their sake that it involved foresight as well. Whatever brought them together will keep them together only if they are determined to continually enhance their knowledge of each other. Love must be growing if it is to be enduring. It must be nourished by mutual experience, understanding, patience, judgement and discretion. By its very complex nature, it is continually redefining itself. To accept the changing nature of love is to be true to the mind as well as the heart.

A Gift Of Love!

Leo Buscaglia from Born for Love

Love is always bestowed as a gift------freely, willingly and without expectation. It is offered even when not acknowledged or appreciated. We dont love to be loved, we love to love.

by Sara Teasdale

The moon is a curving flower of gold,
The sky is still and blue;
The moon was made for the sky to hold,
And I for you.

The moon is a flower without a stem,
The sky is luminous;
Eternity was made for them,
To-night for us.

By Edward Cunningham

In dawn's wakening smile,
in bright new promises of morning,
I have seen your eyes...

In music of midday,
in sweet soaring vibrancy of earthsongs,
I have heard your voice...

In evening's warm caress,
in sheltering closeness of sunset,
I have felt your touch...

All things beautiful in my world
have breathed the magic,
the mystery, the miracle of you...

I have loved you this day.

Thank You

By Chris Gallatin

" Thank you" is one of those wonderful phrases people use to express a special gratitude.
But there's often a lot more to it than those two words can say.

When it comes from the heart,
from deep inside the nicest feelings and the most special thoughts,
"Thank you"means so much.

It means thank you for taking the time to show that you care.
It means "you really made my day,"
and sometimes it means that you really make all the days so much better.

It means you make me feel so nice,
and I wish I could do the same for you...
just by letting you know how much you mean to me.

"Thank you" means you didn't have to...
but I'm so grateful that you did.
"Thank you" means that you've done something special that I'll never forget.
