Little-Cave!
By Kevin S. Lewis
I lay here awake in
my quiet little cave,
the world outside
seems so cold and brave,
I wonder what you
have done to me,
for you are the one
who must set me free,
I've lost all concept
of time and space,
and where are the people
of the human race,
We seem to know
less joy and fun,
because we're continually
on the run,
Running from those
we see and feel,
but choose to say
they can't be real,
Reality for me
is here to stay,
why do the people
all go away,
Away to thoughts
and things of their own,
they now appear
to be made of stone,
The mountains of stone
seem so far away,
but they - unlike people
are here to stay!
