Need VS Greed!

I watch the oh so young and the very very old, everyday they're taken advantage of by people very bold,

Democracy and Socialism, what will they think of next, whatever it is we'll be told for us it is the best,

the clothes I wear/the food I eat, it's all that's best for me, why can't I sit and discuss it, and know that I am free,

I work-I pay-I go each day not knowing what is best, I have these thoughts of giving, living, loving and then I think I'm next,

I want to tell the people of the world, we need to get together, and then I think of Ray-Gun and all our stormy weather,

and I'm reminded of the differences we can and cannot share, why can't the rich ones admit they never really care!

People loving people that's all we really need, People loving people will do away with greed!
